The collaboration between Dolce&Gabbana and Fiasconaro has given rise to a unique panettone, seamlessly blending the classic Milanese recipe with the rich flavours of the South.
Flavours of tradition
This collection of artisanal delights offers a remarkable variety of flavours, each enhanced by the distinctive ingredients of Sicilian tradition. Standout items include the Panettone al Pistacchio di Sicilia, draped in white chocolate and sprinkled with pistachios, accompanied by a velvety pistachio spread. There’s also the Panettone agli Agrumi e Zafferano, featuring candied lemons, oranges, and mandarins, all elevated by the aromatic notes of saffron.
The classic Chocolate Panettone, filled with both milk and dark chocolate along with a hint of orange zest, and the Apple and Cinnamon variant, where the sweetness of candied apple beautifully complements the warm spice of cinnamon, are now available in a handy 500g size.
Other not-to-be-missed specialities include the Panettone alle Nocciole di Sicilia with a creamy manna spread, the Panettone alle Mandorle di Sicilia, and the traditional Panettone with Vino Perpetuo Vecchio Samperi from Sicily. This last option is paired with a small bottle of exquisite wine, perfect for misting directly over the slices to enhance their flavour. Finally, the Panettone alle Castagne Glassate and Gianduia, topped with chestnut cream and a rich chocolate glaze, completes this exquisite selection.
Among the exclusive new offerings for 2024 is the Panettone al Mandarino. This exquisite creation beautifully combines the freshness of candied Sicilian mandarins with the softness of naturally leavened dough. Each slice is a true masterpiece of flavour, capturing the unmistakable aromas of winter in Sicily, where the sun and crisp air create a warm, inviting atmosphere.
Spreads
For those with a sweet tooth, the collection features three irresistible spreads in delightful flavours: pistachio, almond, and Sicilian chocolate.
Torroncini
No selection would be complete without the smaller indulgences: Torroncini Morbidi made with Avola almonds and pistachios, coated in exquisite milk chocolate, dark chocolate, orange, and lemon. Each bite delivers a uniquely indulgent experience.
It’s not just about flavours; it’s about style too. The vibrant cylindrical and rectangular tins, inspired by the lively designs of the Carretto Siciliano and the mosaics of Palermo, beautifully showcase these treats, transforming each package into a true jewel of fine pastry. To celebrate the launch of the new Panettone al Mandarino, this year also sees the debut of a new square tin in citrus orange, adorned with natural scenes that evoke the island’s lush greenery. This makes the product not only a culinary delight but also a collectible item.
