This initiative, aimed at ensuring full transparency throughout the product’s lifecycle, leverages advanced technology to deliver a personalized experience with the customer at its core. The Digital Product Passport, accessible via NFC tag, enhances the uniqueness and authenticity of the Sicily bag, a symbol of timeless elegance and a conscious, informed choice.

Step 1: scan the NFC Tag

Your bag features an NFC tag placed in a specific location. Follow the instructions on the tag that comes with your bag to locate its exact position on your Sicily model, and then bring your smartphone close to it.
To scan the NFC tag, please follow the instructions specific to your device:

 

– iPhone and Google Pixel: the tag reading is automatically activated.
– Samsung Galaxy, Sony Xperia, OnePlus, and Huawei: the scanning feature must be manually enabled in the smartphone settings.

 

Please note that the NFC antenna is typically located on the back of the phone, either at the top or in the center, depending on the model.

 

We suggest placing your smartphone at the top back of the bag, sliding it down.

Step 2: view the Digital Product Passport

A web app will open automatically, enabling you to explore it independently and view the Digital Product Passport for your Sicily bag. You can access this information at any time simply by scanning the NFC tag.

Step 3: discover the Digital Product Passport

The web app includes the Digital Product Passport, providing technical details and information regarding the traceability of raw materials and the various stages of the production supply chain. It also contains certifications that verify adherence to quality standards and environmental responsibilities. Furthermore, you will find a guide on care and maintenance to ensure the lasting quality, cleanliness, and appearance of your Sicily bag.
