Dolce&Gabbana supports Madonna in the creation of ‘Confessions II – The Film’, accompanying her album of the same name.
‘Confessions II – The Film’ powered by Dolce&Gabbana
Dolce&Gabbana powered ‘Confessions II – The Film’, the visual companion to Madonna’s album of the same name, directed by David Toro and Solomon Chase (TORSO) and premiered at the Tribeca Film Festival in New York on June 5 at the Beacon Theatre.
Produced by DIVISION, ‘Confessions II – The Film’ is a visual work running over ten minutes. The project unfolds through the album’s first six tracks and is conceived as a single immersive cinematic experience, where music and moving images are revealed together in a compelling and evocative way.
Just like the album, the film blurs the boundaries between individual tracks, creating a narrative that follows the logic of a dream.

Dolce&Gabbana DNA
As part of the collaboration, Dolce&Gabbana curated the wardrobe for Madonna and the entire cast. The project is rooted in the longstanding relationship between the artist and the brand, which began in the early 1990s and has evolved over time through a shared spirit of creative expression.
Drawing from both the brand’s archive and more recent collections, the looks create a cohesive visual narrative, bringing together Madonna’s imagery and the brand’s distinctive aesthetic codes. The result is a series of silhouettes that embody a clear language of personal expression, creativity and identity.
The selection connects Madonna’s visual iconography with Dolce&Gabbana’s unmistakable DNA and its many interpretations throughout the years, becoming an integral part of the film’s aesthetic.
The film’s release was preceded by ‘Grindr Presents: Madonna LIVE in New York’, held in Times Square on June 4. Performing before a record-breaking crowd, Madonna unveiled a first preview of her new album while wearing Dolce&Gabbana, making the brand’s distinctive aesthetic instantly recognisable.
