In a triumphant union of Italian sophistication and Shanghai’s vibrant cultural landscape, Dolce&Gabbana announces the opening of Casa Dolce&Gabbana at Zhangyuan. This new flagship destination promises an immersive journey through the brand’s ethos, blending exquisite craftsmanship with avant-garde creativity.
Casa Dolce&Gabbana stands as a testament to the brand’s commitment to artistic innovation and cultural appreciation. Located within Shanghai’s largest and most architecturally diverse Shikumen complex, Zhangyuan, this new venture not only expands Dolce&Gabbana’s footprint in the local market but also deepens its connection with Chinese consumers. The space is meticulously curated to showcase the brand’s multifaceted universe, inviting visitors on a sensory exploration of brand’s heritage and contemporary vision.
Stepping inside Casa Dolce&Gabbana, visitors are greeted with a narrative that unfolds across two meticulously designed floors. The ground floor pays homage to the brand’s Italian roots with the Sicily Garden room, a lush tribute adorned with traditional motifs. Adjacent, during the opening event, the Hologram Room presented “Origini” by Alberto Maria Colombo, blending digital artistry with tangible craftsmanship, while the Immersive Room offered exclusive content on the brand’s FAI (Italy’s National Trust) partnership. Upstairs, the DG Cinema and dedicated Casa Collection halls showcase Dolce&Gabbana’s iconic style and commitment to handmade excellence. The journey culminates in the “NERO: The Color of Dolce&Gabbana” exhibition, an exploration of the brand’s iconic Black Sicily palette through editorial portraits and reportage photography, capturing brand’s timeless allure.
With Casa Dolce&Gabbana, Alfonso Dolce, CEO of Dolce&Gabbana, reaffirms the brand’s dedication to cultural enrichment and creative exploration.
“We are thrilled to introduce Casa Dolce&Gabbana at Zhangyuan,” Mr. Dolce remarks. “It is more than a flagship—it is a cultural nexus where art, design, and craftsmanship converge. Through this space, we aspire to inspire and connect with our audience on a deeper level, fostering a dynamic dialogue that transcends borders.”
