Stravaganza Siciliana begins by opening the wardrobes of Sicily’s grand houses.
Within them, different generations coexist: clothes once worn by great-grandmothers, grandmothers, mothers, aunts and daughters. Bodices, lace and hand-worked trousseaus form an intimate family archive that becomes autobiography. Each woman takes what she has inherited and transforms it into something that belongs to her alone. She opens the wardrobes, tries on the clothes, layers them and mixes them together.
A slip dress is worn over a jacket, antique lace meets contemporary pieces, lingerie and eveningwear coexist, and the precious and the everyday merge in an unexpected balance.
Stravaganza Siciliana is an instinctive, personal and tactile way of dressing. It places the individual back at the centre: her creativity, her character, her inventiveness, her contradictions. Today, true stravaganza lies in being one of a kind.
Embroideries: traces of the past
Intricate hand embroidery, enriched with coral, buttons, brooches and jewel-like embellishments, runs across dresses, jackets, skirts and denim pieces. The result is a rich interplay of colours, materials, elaborate techniques and meticulous details, lending each creation a unique character.
Memory becomes style
Damasks, passementerie, furnishing fabrics and upholstery imbued with the allure of bygone eras leave the interiors behind to envelop the body, while chandeliers and personal memories inspire jewellery and accessories. Richly textured fabrics, brocades and traditional techniques reminiscent of family trousseaus – such as crochet and lace – are further elevated through sophisticated craftsmanship, from three-dimensional effects to floral embroidery. The resulting looks celebrate craftsmanship, the skill of expert hands and an attention to detail that have long been integral to the brand’s know-how. In selected creations, the allure of objects passed down through generations meets the contemporary character of pieces rooted in Dolce&Gabbana’s DNA – such as lingerie featuring the D&G logo and denim – alongside the personal styling that helps define the concept behind the show.

The Leopard
The Leopard print is reimagined, taking on new expressions across different categories – including outerwear, dresses, jackets and accessories – as well as through a variety of materials and techniques. From prints to jacquard, satin to three-dimensional surfaces, velvet to fine leathers, the Leopard motif brings rich textures and elaborate constructions to life, highlighting the refinement of the fabrics while renewing its sophisticated allure and bold spirit.
An interplay of colours
Colour runs as a thread throughout the collection. Floral prints inspired by the 1920s and 1930s bloom across chiffon, devoré and three-dimensional surfaces, playing with transparency, layering and texture. Vichy appears in selected looks with its unmistakable checked pattern, interpreted through spontaneous and unexpected combinations that enhance its graphic character. An interplay of shades and patterns that captures the most vibrant side of Stravaganza Siciliana.

Between heritage and freedom
In the wardrobe that inspired the show, black emerges through traditional jackets, silhouettes, necklines and lace dresses, alongside new elements expressed through unexpected cuts, the addition of details such as fringing, and references to the 1920s. Stylistic experimentation also extends to a new interpretation of the classic Dolce jacket, known for its structured silhouette. Here, it becomes lighter and follows the lines of the body like a shirt, while trousers take on a new flared cut inspired by the 1970s. Dolce&Gabbana codes are thus mixed, reinterpreted and reframed through the personal perspective of the wearer.
Stravaganza in accessories
Contrasts and craftsmanship run through the collection’s accessories. Bags come alive with embroidery, gems and jewel-like details, while hand-worked crochet and fine leathers create richly textured surfaces. Smooth or ramage-effect handles become distinctive elements, enhanced with elaborate, precious embellishments. Shoes bring together Leopard motifs, geometric elements, crocheted flowers, stones and embroidery in a spontaneous dialogue between different references, transforming slingbacks, ballet flats and boots into compositions of unexpected elegance. A spontaneous mix and match in which Dolce&Gabbana codes converge, influence one another and are continually renewed.
